Movable ejectors are a mechanism used in plastic injection moulds. These ejectors allow the injection moulded part to be removed from the mould. It helps to remove the parts smoothly and undamaged in time.

Correct centring of the movable ejectors is critical to avoid damage to the mould and the part being produced. Improper centring of ejectors can lead to deformation of demoulded parts, surface defects and a reduction in overall production quality.

The main problems that can be encountered during the extrusion process include part deformation, parts remaining in the mould and surface defects. These problems are usually caused by improper adjustment of the ejectors or insufficient cooling time of the moulds.
